My recent solo show Restoring Balance: Before and Between (Art Noise Gallery, Kingston Canada — 23 Aug to 20 Sep) featured this work and its companion, Nereids Descending, both completed in July this year. Early/Late
Drypoint (2018)
Size: w 10.75″ x h 10.75″
In the pairing of Early and Late I further etched the plate after the initial printing to create the second image and thus render subsequent printings of the first impossible. The tension between the two images is the space/time between young and old, experience and innocence.
